My family has been heart-broken for the past 18 months since our cat Lucy went missing from our home. Six weeks later, a woman took Lucy to MSPCA Angell, then walked out with her after Angell staff found a microchip and told her to leave Lucy so they could return her to her owners (us). The woman, through her lawyer, said at a hearing that she put Lucy out on the street outside her home after returning from Angell.
