Donations Needed for TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return)
Have you ever noticed a colony of cats hanging around your neighborhood? Perhaps you yourself have kindly been feeding stray animals? Why are there so many animals out there fending for themselves? The answer in most cases is that these animals have been abandoned or have been born into the wild without being spayed or neutered. Thus, they continue to reproduce among themselves and these colonies grow.
Although no shelter or animal rescue group has the capability to rescue every single one of these animals, TNR groups can certainly help by trapping these animals and having them spayed or neutered to help stop reproduction and then returning them to the only home they know.
But who pays for the related costs? The people feeding the animals are not able to handle all medical costs, and the shelters and animal rescue groups cannot either. Shelters and rescue groups are able to feed, shelter and spay/neuter "adoptable cats" because of the donations they receive and from adoption donations. But how do we help these poor unwanted animals?
That's where you can play a role. Help continue the TNR programs that are desperately needed by making a donation toward TNR today. Help us stop the reproduction of unwanted cats who live with disease, hunger and fear every day.

Dog of the Month
Bear Bear is a handsome 3 1/2 year old male Rottie, around 120 lbs. He is smart, loyal and loving. He does well with some dogs, and has lived with two females previously - a Pittie and a Westie, and did fine with them. He needs a foster home to go to, since his mom cannot keep him anymore due to surgery she had that prevents her from walking him, but more importantly he needs a forever home! A home with prior Rottie or bully breed experience is preferred.

My name is Daisy and I'm dainty like the flower. I'm a beautiful 1-2 year old, petite, female with a white belly and multi-colored tiger stripes. My original owner didn't want a pet and gave me to someone else. That person couldn't afford to keep me so I wound up with a nice lady who wanted to help me. Unfortunately, someone else in the house now doesn't want to let her have an animal. I'm a super friendly little lady who doesn't understand why nobody will love me forever. I'm hoping someone will give me a loving forever home so I don't have to keep moving around. I have a lot of years left to love you and hope you'll consider me as a new addition to your family.

Even Stressed Out Cats and Cats with Medical Needs Need Loving Homes
Genero was one of those cats that just didn't show well at adoptions.He would get so stressed and lash out in his fear. Precious was a 10-year old cat with a hyper thyroid.Many thought she should be put down because maybe she would be too much trouble. Two years later, both Genero and Precious are happily living with Louis, who took a chance on them and gave them a loving home. They were given a second chance at life because of their adopter’s patience and understanding. Now look at these two beautiful cats! We’re always looking for special people like Louis to adopt some of our less adoptable cats.Are you one of those people?We hope so!

Animals in southern states need help urgently, especially Illinois and Kentucky due to the tornado.
Urgent- we need a special person who can give a surrendered cat a home so that it doesn't get put down. The owner can no longer keep the cat. It is a female cat from 5 to 8 years old. The cat is used to living with a woman in a quiet home. Someone is holding the cat but they cannot keep her. The cat is very stressed from losing its owner and needs someone with patience and love. Foster Home Needed for Hennessey
Hennessey is a beautiful lab/pit mix we took in from a family that had to surrender him due to their landlord deciding after a few months that he would not allow dogs, as well as the fact that Mom just had a new baby as had too much to handle. Hennessey is a love bug, and has been good with the family's three kids.He has just been neutered, and has all of his medical records. He has lots of energy and would do best with someone with young dog experience! At this time while he's transitioning, he will do best as an only dog in a foster home. Foster Home Needed for Harry
We're looking for a foster home for Harry with no other cats. Harry is a friendly and lovable 4 to 6 year old male who loves to be petted and will just purr away to get as much love and attention as he can. Harry has a #2 heart murmur and is FIV+. Kitty Connection has had a blood work-up and all is fine with his organs and blood levels.
Foster homes needed for cats. With a busy kitten season approaching, Kitty Connection is looking for dedicated foster homes for cats. Cats tend to do better in pairs so it’s best if you can foster two but one would be fine. During kitten season, it takes longer to find homes for cats because everyone wants a kitten. In order to be able to help all the cats who need homes, we are looking for committed foster homes where a cat or cats can stay from 2-16 weeks. Training and supplies are provided. We also specifically need a foster home for a litter of kittens. They are five weeks old so a foster commitment of 3 to 4 weeks is requested. Food and litter provided.
