We adopted Gwen from Kitty Connection three years ago. She is definitely a cat that doesn’t ‘show well’ for potential adoptive parents. She was not particularly friendly and her past abuse made her very distrusting of people. Sadly, Gwen still shows physical signs of her past abuse – her tail still has a large bump and is slightly crooked from where it was broken. It’s taken time, but Gwen now seeks affection from us, purrs, allows us to pat her and scratch her behind her ears. There are still areas we cannot touch, but we’re getting along well with Gwen, she sleeps with us at night and she’s become a great part of our family.
