Hi Marie, you see what a very happy and mellow cat Jonesy is in his new home. Within a couple of days I was able to pat him on the head, within a week he was sleeping on my bed at night and letting me brush him and pat him nose to tail, and now I am able to pick him up (although I think he senses that he’s pretty heavy for me to hold). I’m sure that soon he will be hopping into my lap, as he already follows me from room to room wanting to be patted. He is just the sweetest boy! Thank you for all that you did to bring Jonesy and me together, and thanks to the good samaritan neighbors who saved my sweet boy – please pass on the message to them that he is loving and being loved in a safe and happy environment.
