I lost my beloved 19-year old cat Lucky in February, 2008. I was heartbroken and called Kitty Connection to see if I could save a cat and give it a wonderful home! I met Oreo (formerly Spot) and instantly fell in love. He settled right into my home with my dog Wendell and my other 3 cats, Gizmo, Tigger and Midnight. In March, 2008, I adopted FiFi so Oreo could have a companion around the same age and they immediately became “best buds.: FiFi is so dainty and a love and I definitely needed another female in my home with all 5 males running around 🙂 In September 2008, Jerry came into my life as a very weak, 1-pound malnourished kitten who was at death’s door. With patience and endurance, I nursed him back to health with FiFi as his “surrogate” mother! She immediately assumed the role of mother and took Jerry under her wing and protected him, cleaned him and gave him the love and attention as if he were her own. Sadly, Gizmo, my other beloved 20-year old passed away in October, 2008. Words cannot express my heartfelt gratitude to Kitty Connection for giving me the chance to give Oreo, FiFi and Jerry their forever home.
