This success story is long overdue. I brought home Thomas O’Malley and Betty in June. They were strangers at Kitty Connection but quickly became good friends. Thomas O’Malley is a sweet, gentle, hungry older guy (12 years or so). He was immediately comfortable in my home, slept on my bed the first night. It didn’t take long to find out why Thomas was originally named Fatty Cat. Thomas loves to eat!! I don’t know if the pictures really show his size because Betty has really filled out as well. I do feel that he adopted me. Even though he is a senior cat, I just couldn’t leave Kitty Connection without him and he’s great. He is sleeping on my desk right now as I write to you. Two-year old Betty took a bit longer to completely relax but now she greets all guests and wants to sit on their lap. She’s very curious and into absolutely everything. She keeps Thomas moving, they often wrestle and chase each other – good exercise! Her name really suits her so I didn’t change it – sometimes she’s quite a lady and other times a bit of a Bossy Betty. Just try to give Thomas a bit of attention and she comes running. Thomas just sits back and waits his turn. Thomas, Betty and I are very happy together. They are great companions for me and my nieces adore them. The cats have taken over my kids’ chairs and working on the computer can get very crowded! Many thanks for all that Kitty Connection does for cats in need of a home!
