I am a 6-month-old little girl. I was found on the street when I was a little kitten. The young woman that found me could not keep me at her place, so she put me with her boyfriend who lived in a rooming house. Unfortunately, the boyfriend did not like cats. After months of my being ignored (and possibly abused) by him, the young woman called the people here to help me. I am now in a foster home where a nice person is helping me to trust people. I was so scared when I first came in, I would make myself as small as I could and hide my face under my tail. Now, 2 weeks later, I am close to being fully socialized and friendly. I walk around the house with my tail held high, and play with my foster mom and the other cats. After being here a week and a half, I, freely, let my foster mom pet me and just yesterday went to her and rubbed my cheek against her hand and let her pet me. I am still a bit shy, but I am becoming more out going every day. I am hoping to find a quiet, loving home where I can be the princess I was meant to be.
I just met my new very best friend. Nadir became my new foster brother and he is such great fun. We play together, eat together, and watch the birds out the windows together. We also comfort each other at adoption events. It would be wonderful if we could stay together, which would mean being adopted together.
