My name is Jozy and I’m four-year-old grey Tuxedo boy. People say that I’m handsome, and I have to take their word for it because I have been almost completely blind from birth. That does not stop me from navigating, but it does mean that I am stressed by the presence of other four-legged animals, so I have to be the only one in the house. It also means that I do not show well at adoption events, so, if you want to meet me, you must make an arrangement with my fosters, who will give you the benefit of their experience so you can be the best possible caretaker for me.
I was pulled out of a shelter just hours before I was about to be put down. I was put there because the people whom I thought were my family put me there just because they were going to move to Florida– as if they don’t allow cats in Florida.
I would do best if my new household were quiet. Any children in the home (as well as adults) would need to have sufficient patience to understand my needs, which, for the most part, are simple. If you’re the sort of person who roots for the underdog (or undercat) and think you are a good match for me, please call or write to Kitty Connection.
