Midnight and Daphne were rescued in the Boston area in the fall of 2010. They were found living in the window well of a women’s shelter and were being secretly fed by the residents. It is fortunate for Midnight that she chose the women’s shelter as she actually had four kittens to provide for that fall. We adopted Midnight and her daughter (Daphne) together so that they would be able to enjoy each other’s company. Upon bringing them home we found that they did indeed play with each other and care for one another. Both cats can often be found curled up on a bed together or sitting end to end on the top of the couch. They frequently bathe one another and roughhouse in a very loving way. These two cats love their owners once they get to know them. Both cats jump into bed for snuggles and Midnight loves to sit hip to hip with me on the couch. Additionally, both cats frequently follow my husband around the kitchen in the morning waiting for treats while he makes coffee. The cats have been wonderful with our two children and don’t seem to mind dogs.
