My name is Christmas and I’m a very handsome 3 to 5 year old Blue Nose Pit Bull. I was rescued from a very neglectful situation. I was found freezing to death outside on Christmas Day. Icicles were hanging off my body and I could barely walk from the frostbite on my feet. If it wasn’t for the love and kindness of my emergency volunteers, I would not be here today. It took me two weeks to get back on my feet and get moved to another foster home, so that I could go for a recheck and neuter. Although I still have many scars on my body, my Vet felt I was in good shape. I am neutered and ready to find my forever loving home. Everyone is amazed that I am such an affectionate and people friendly dog after all that I have been through. I am playful and just love being with you every minute. I would love to find a home where someone has a lot of time to spend with me and a lot of time to play and get me out for nice long walks or runs. I do well when meeting other dogs. I walk well on a leash and do good in a crate once I am settled into my environment. I prefer to have a dog bed and sleep in the same room as you. If you meet me, I will melt your heart.
