Hi! My name is Zoey and I am a 2-1/2 year old Rhodesian/Brindle American Pit Bull Terrier mix. I am so grateful to be living with my new foster family. My foster mom says I’ve got the best smile and that I’m the prettiest redhead she’s ever seen! In my foster home I live with a 2-year old male dog and a 6-year old kitty. Previously, I lived with six children from ranging from ages 2 to 10, two adults, and three cats. I am a LOVING, affectionate, and calm family dog. My former family was forced to surrender me to the shelter because I needed Entropion eyelid surgery and they couldn’t afford it. Thankfully, the wonderful vet at the shelter did the surgery and I am good as new! Since I lived with my former family since I was a tiny puppy, I am still a little sad and anxious, but I am coming out of my shell. I know the commands sit, stay, lay down, shake, leave it, give, and of course my favorite – kisses! I love to play fetch and go on walks and do great on leash! I would make an excellent running partner. Like to go hiking? Me, too! Let’s meet and go for a walk and see how things turn out!
