Adoption pending! Hi! My name is Rudy and I am a 9 yr old 70 lb pit mix. I came to Kitty Connection when my family surrendered me because I had a skin allergy. Slowly over the past 3 weeks with medication and special baths, my skin is getting better and I am feeling much more comfortable. Now I am able to enjoy myself! My favorite activities include: basking in the sun, playing with the other dogs in my foster home, playing fetch, going to Dairy Queen with my foster dad – I always get lots of attention waiting in line, getting belly rubs, going for car rides, going for a walk, getting a bath, watching over my human foster “sisters” (ages 3 and 4) – they give the best belly rubs!
I have great manners; I don’t beg during dinner time, I don’t jump, I’m not mouthy, I go into my crate when my foster family goes out and sleep there at night because I love it, I come when called and will sit, lay down, I wait patiently for my food at breakfast and dinner, I live in a home with 3 other dogs, two cats and 2 kids and I get along with everyone, I rarely bark and I don’t chew!
My only challenge is that I am an older dog and not everyone wants to adopt an older dog. I would go to any family who would love me enough but I would really love a family with children. They light up my life and when we are outside together I go no father than 3 feet away to ensure that they are always safe. Let’s meet and see if we are a match!
