Adoption pending! My name is Mitzie and I am a 1 year old black female Lab/Pit mix weighing 36 lbs. I have partial site, but that doesn’t stop me from being an active puppy. I am very energetic and love to play tug of war or with my chirpie toys. I am affectionate, love tummy rubs, to be petted, and like to be your shadow. I was found by animal control as a stray, so I am still learning how to be a polite little lady. My foster parents are very patient and have taught me the commands sit, come, and laydown in the short time I have been with them. We are still working on stay, no, leave it, give it, drop it, down, and being fully potty trained and not nipping. I am learning to walk nicely on a leash, but right now I get a little overly excited when I see other dogs. I love all people and am good with strangers, but little children may not ideal since I am a BIG puppy. I am up to date on my vaccines and will be spayed shortly. Since I am a puppy, I need active owners who are willing to be patient and train me or take me to puppy classes so I can grow up to be a well-mannered dog. I am grateful for animal control for taking me off the streets and for Kitty Connection/my foster family from saving me from a lonely kennel life, but I need a forever home.
