My name is Lady and I’m a 10-12 year old, female, small, mixed breed dog. I am about 25 pounds, up to date on shots, and spayed. My elderly owner passed away and no one in the family can take me. I am so sad losing my dad, who I loved so dearly, and now I have lost my home.
I’m a very sweet girl. I do well with other dogs, although I tend to be an alpha female. I’m also good with cats–I made friends with two kittens in my foster home and I miss them now that they have been adopted! I loved grooming them and snuggling with them, and they liked me, too.
I am pretty energetic for my age, and would love a home with people who are around during the day. I have never lived with young children, so a home with older children would be recommended, though I may be fine living with young children.
