Watson is a a senior Cocker Spaniel boy of approximately 12 yrs of age. In the fal,l he was found by an animal control officer scared and alone. It was evident from his fearful nature, his skinny body, matted hair and flea infestation that he had been on his own for some time. Kitty Connection was called and his foster mom could not wait one more day to get him out of a kennel and show him love. Watson has been with his foster mom and dad since December and has been slowly but surely recuperating. The flea infestation was so bad that he had an open wound on his back the size of a softball that was covered with crusty layers of old blood, dirt and fleas. His belly was full of worms and his ears were so infected that he was constantly shaking his head causing him to be off balance. Watson is partially blind and almost completely deaf. He finds comfort following his foster dad in the yard and on walks. Watson is potty trained and is well behaved enough to be on his own when left alone. Since Watson is impaired he would do best in a quiet home with no children. He might do well with a low energy cat or a small dog as company. Watson is up-to-date on vaccinations and we are in the process of scheduling surgery for him to be neutered and to have some dental extractions and a cleaning. Watson’s adoption donation is $100.
