Chanel

My name is Chanel and I am one of 5 kittens born in someone’s house where we lived in the hallway. I guess it wasn’t obvious to those people that something was wrong with me. A weepy eye, thick mucous, eventually not noticing an eye, all seemed normal to them. We are just animals. My mom would have sought help for me if she could, but mom was shut in the hallway with us. She had to nurse all of us while being fed the meager scraps that the people fed her…their leftovers. A nice lady found out about all of us, that the people didn’t want us and were going to give all of us away. This nice lady came and got us and brought us to Kitty Connection.  We were all immediately taken to the vet mostly because of how bad I looked. It’s obvious that I have a good chance of losing my eye. The vet could not even see an eye through all the infection and inflamed tissue. We are all severely undernourished, mom included. The doctor can not say yet whether my eye can be saved, but my foster mom is doing everything she can to try to save my eye and my life. This requires medication and so far, the expenses have totaled $125 and I will require more medical attention. Can you help?
