My name is Maverick and I’m a 4 yr old shepherd/sharpe mix. My heart is so broken because I don’t want to loose my home. My owner, a young woman with two children, was in a terrible motorcycle accident a few weeks back. She is still unconscious and even if she recovers, she is years away from taking care of me. The family has their hands full and just can’t worry about me right now. Kitty Connection has tried to find someone who would take me on with the intent to give me back if my owner recovers. My other dog brother was a small dog and someone stepped up to the plate for him but no one for me. I am a big boy about 65 pounds. I am a big playful live bug. I am great with people and kids. I lived with another dog and two cats. My time is up and I need a home. I need someone who understands how hard this is all going to be for me.
