My name is Pepita and I am 8 years old. My owner surrendered me because her boyfriend thought I was too temperamental. I’d do good in an adult-only home that is calm and relaxed; where my owner(s) are familiar with cat “body language”. I can be a total lap kitty and I am also extremely bright and communicative. When she is startled or feels in danger, I can be a little unpredictable; I may have been abused in the past tho I can’t remember. For this reason, Pepi would be happiest in a quiet and routine environment I’m a very independent cat that enjoys living a cat’s life. I’d be an ideal companion for someone who is older…maybe retired who has the time to let me settle in at my own pace. I love to play with laser and wand toys, and I enjoy getting gently brushed. I have a very keen eye and good attention span so I can be worked with but I don’t care to be picked up and/or carried. Do you think we can be a team? Could I fit into your life?
