My name is Gus. I’m a big, friendly tuxedo boy, about two-three years old, and weighing about 15 lbs. I was abandoned by the people who meant the world to me when they moved away and left me behind. A kind woman regularly left food for me on her porch, but she couldn’t keep me, so she contacted Kitty Connection. Soon, a volunteer cat rescuer came and took me.
I am a warm-hearted, gentle spirit who will bring a lot of love to anyone who gives me a safe home for the rest of my life. I love getting petted and will sit contendedly for as long as I am getting petted. I will gaze lovingly at you when you stop, so grateful for your love and attention; I ooze love.
My hard life on the street has given me FIV, but that is unlikely to affect my lifespan or quality of life. It doesn’t even require any treatment. I need to live my life indoors in a caring home with food, water, and lots of love!
