My name is Nixon and I am a 7-9 year old, medium length furred female Calico. I sport a beautiful orange and black coat with a big bushy tail and white paws. In other words, I am gorgeous and adorable! Here is my back story:
I previously lived in a home with two other cats until one of my owners suddenly passed away from cancer several years ago. My owner’s wife could not cope with having her husband’s cats in the home because they were a constant reminder of him and his sudden death. She found homes for the two other cats, but was having trouble finding a home for me. An acquaintance of the young widow’s was asked to “foster” me for a short period of time until she could find a permanent home for me. She never returned for me and was never heard from again! I felt so confused! Then, my temporary mom fell, broke her hip, and had to be moved to an assisted living facility and I can’t come.
That’s my story and I am in a new foster home with Kitty Connection. All I want is to be held and petted. I love to get picked up and cradled, like a (human) baby. I am VERY affectionate and want a mom (or a dad…or BOTH) who will cuddle and love me for the rest of my life! In return, I will love you and purr for you. No more bouncing around for me, please; I want a furever home.
