My name is Wellington. I am a 3-4 month old, gray tuxedo kitten.. My siblings and I were abandoned and then, rescued out of a bad situation from which our poor mother did not survive. Unfortunately, I tested positive for feline leukemia virus, although my siblings tested negative. Feline leukemia virus does not actually cause cats to get leukemia, but it predisposes them to getting it. Humans and other animals are not susceptible to this virus, but it is highly contagious among cats. Therefore, I must be adopted into a home that does not have any other cats, or has only cats who have also tested positive for this virus. Because of this, my adoption donation has been discounted substantially.

I am as friendly and playful a kitten as you would ever want. I respond to petting with enthusiastic headbutts and a warm prayer, and I am as playful as any little kitten could be. I hope someone will adopt me into a home where I can share my love for the rest of my life.
