I am Jasmine and I am an all black, 4 year old female cat. I was adopted from Kitty Connection a few years ago but my owners got divorced. We moved into an apartment with a friend. I started scratching the friends’ carpets which was not appreciated by the roommate. My owner chose to stay in the apartment and out I went. My owner was my life, and now that I’ve been displaced, I am exceptionally scared and confused. I am staying with a foster mom and seeking a new owner. My new owner should understand that I will need a lot of time to adjust to my new surroundings. Everything is new and scary for me. My last home was the only home and life I knew. I’m slowly adjusting to a new life in my foster mom’s bathroom (honestly, I’m not budging from this spot!). I’m comfortable there and enjoy getting petted by my foster mom. She thinks I’m a very sweet cat but is very depressed from all the changes in my life. My confidence will grow little by little everyday. I eat well, use the litter box, and occasionally play, and I get along with other non-dominant cats. If interested in meeting me (I’ll be in the bathroom hiding), please contact my foster, Michelle.
