My name is Lily, and I am a friendly caliby (calico coloring in a tabby striped pattern) girl, about 12 years old. I am a lovable, little girl who was dropped off of at a kill shelter by the person who meant the world to me. I knew I had been betrayed, and I was naturally heartbroken. A rescue volunteer found out about this and helped get me out shortly before I was about to be put down. Despite going through all that, my warm, friendly nature has shone through from the moment I entered my foster home. You know how most cats are reserved at first? Well, not me! I took to my foster mom immediately, responding to petting with head butts and a warm purr. I am a sweet little girl who is likely to be appropriate for a first-time adopter. Maybe you need me as much as I need you.
I have been diagnosed with early kidney failure, but, at this point, it does not appear to be anything likely to interfere with my overall life expectancy as long as I am fed a special diet according to the vet who examined my blood test.
Kitty Connection cats have been:
– spayed or neutered
– vaccinated against rabies and distemper
– tested negative for FIV and FeLV
– examined by a vet
Adopters will receive their medical records. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee so Kitty Connection can continue to help cats in need. Kitty Connection knows that the world does not beat a path to cats like me, so my adoption fee has been reduced to a mere $25. I’m being fostered in Cambridge, where potential adopters can arrange to meet me.
Cats can live up to 20 years, so give careful thought to the changes that are likely to occur in your life during that time. If you can and will commit to providing a safe, loving home for life, then please contact RoyCBarrows@gmail.com. Please include your phone number for a faster response and say a little about yourself and the home you would provide for her as Kitty Connection tries to match people with the right cats.
