Hi there, my name is Meeko, and I am a curious and confident 1 year old boy. I am very friendly and affectionate, and I have the most expressive face—I make the funniest expressions! Here in my foster home, I love to spend time with my people, and I enjoy sleeping close to you (or right next to you) in your bed at night. It didn’t take me too long to feel comfortable in my foster home because I wanted to find all of the cozy places to nap: like on the window sill, on the sofa, or right next to your pillows on the bed. I like to show my affection by brushing up against your legs, and I absolutely love being scratched in between my ears or underneath my chin!
My foster home thinks that I would do well in a house with kids, especially ones that would like to play with me because I love to play! However, they should probably be kids that are a little bit older. You can think of me like an adolescent/teenager in cat years, so I can be a little bit moody at times (just like any ol’ teenager)—however, when I do not want to be pet, I’ll let you know by flattening my ears or turning back to look at you very quickly. I just need to be around kids who understand my signals, and are able to give me just a quick minute to cool off before coming back to give me lots of love and pets!
I truly am such a sweet boy, and cannot wait to find my forever home!
