Hi, my name is Sphere! I am a friendly 1 year old male with a beautiful, soft tabby coat and bright green eyes. I was a little bit shy to explore my surroundings when I first got to my foster home, but one thing I loved since my very first day here was letting them give me lots of love and pets. When you start petting me, I will spin around in a circle and nudge you (so that you can keep giving me lots of love for as long as your heart desires!). I will even roll over and let you pet my soft belly—I will hold your hand in between my paws so that you can keep on petting me 🙂 Also, once I settled in here at my foster home, I have turned into a lap cat and enjoy snuggling up right next to you on the sofa while you are watching TV or reading or in bed with you at night. Loud noises still scare me sometimes, but I have gained confidence since getting to my foster home. I enjoy relaxing on the cat tree or couch and lounging in the sunny spots around the apartment! I have lived with other cats before and have done well with them. I actually am being fostered with my friend Billie Holiday right now! She is a friendly and lovable lap kitty as well. We could either be adopted as a pair or individually. I also have such a gentle demeanor that my foster home thinks that I could do well in a calmer home with quieter or older children.
I am FIV+, but I promise, don’t let that scare you! I am a very healthy guy, and even though I tested positive, I may never have symptoms in my long life.
