Hi my name is Chloe. I’m a 8 year old black cat with a tiny tuff of white on my chest. My mommy adopted me 7 years ago and we were very happy. A year ago Daddy moved in and brought his kitty with him. Sadly, she scares me and I haven’t left my room for almost a year. Mommy is very worried about my quality of life so she decided I need a new forever home so I can be happy again, even though it makes her sad.
I like to keep myself clean and mommy helps me by brushing my silky fine coat of fur. I have a gentle quiet purr which I do whenever anyone pets me. I like to be scratched behind the ears and on my back, but especially love to sprawl on my back and have my chest rubbed when I’m feeling really comfortable. I may even gently reach out with my paw (but never with my claw) and ask to be pet more because I love it so much. I am extremely gentle and never ever bite or scratch because I know what it’s like to be traumatized and would never wish that on anyone.
I am shy to strangers and don’t like loud noises or quick movements but I will warm up to someone pretty quickly and be a loving devoted friend. I love to play and chase strings, socks and other fun toys. Although I am an indoors only house cat, I love sitting on the window sill and watch the world go by. I also love to snuggle up next to mommy and daddy on the bed and sleep with them all night.
I am most happy with one or two adults but get afraid of strangers and commotion and will hide under the bed, coming out when the coast is clear. I am looking for that special someone who will love take care of me and who I can love as much in return.
