She tested positive for a parasite that's found in dirty drinking water .
So unfair for any animal that wants a home to have to live outside.
Severely anemic from flea bites.

We are so determined to make her well.

My name is Walker. I am a 12 year old stray, who ran up to a kitty connection volunteer looking for help, I'm in pretty rough shape. I was taken to Vet for immediate medical care because I was so emaciated and matted.
This morning my foster mom found me very lethargic and unresponsive. I was rushed to the hospital, they want to keep me overnight to stabilize me and do some more blood work. my previous blood workup thought I was a diabetic, but I am not a diabetic. I could have some internal bleeding from parasites, and I am very anemic from all my flea bites from being outside, the hospital feels they can get me back on my feet and need to do additional blood work up to dig deeper into my condition. They would also like to keep me overnight so they could monitor me and treat me with IV fluids to get me strong and on my feet again, they'd like to do an ultrasound, but that will be determined by how much money we raise.

Low end $3000 high-end 3700. Please help me if you can.

** I believe in things happen for a reason. This beautiful cat that was once a pet, LITERALLY walked up to a volunteer that was taking a walk and asked for help.
The universe brought them together.
