Hi, I’m Spooky. I am quite the special girl, being mostly blind (I can only see shadows if there is a light behind you), and deaf! But that doesn’t stop my explorer spirit! When I came to my foster I was in a pretty rough state, covered in mats which were causing some mobility issues. But now with my sleek lion cut, I’ve got my run of her place day and nite and LOVE to explore. I am excellent using my litter box (just show me where it is and the nose knows!), and even have my purrfect napping spot (an awesome basket in the living room). I do get a little startled if picked up without warning, but my foster has learned that just a slow approach and tap on the floor lets me know someone is there, then I can give them a good sniff and know who they are. Then just set my back down by my litter box and I can take it from there! Plus, then I can get ALL the pets, and oh boy do I love pets, a good back or neck rub, or even my nose! I really do like having someone (human or feline!) around, and it would be purrfect if I could find a home where I could have a kitty or human friend who has lots of time to spend with me! I have been told I am quite the sweety, and just looking for a home to call my own, to settle in and explore. Most of all I am looking for someone willing to take on a lovely special needs kitty, who is also especially sweet!
