My name is Strawberry and I am a 1 to 2-year-old female. I had an eye infection that did not get cared for properly. It caused major eye damage. Volunteers have been working hard to save the eye so that it doesn’t need to be removed. So far all looks well and everyone says I’m still a beautiful little girl. I am fine with other cats being around me but I’m not looking for another cat to have as a friend so I could be adopted as an only one. I love sitting on your lap and being petted. I’d probably do best with more mature children because I will let them know when I’ve had enough but I am gentle about it. I hope someone will fall in love with me just like all the volunteers and give me a forever home.
Update: I went to see the eye specialist recently and they canceled my appointment to remove my eye! I’m still not out of the woods but my eye is healing nicely and everyone is very hopeful that it is going to continue to heal and I won’t need any surgery.
Unless otherwise noted in the above description, Kitty Connection cats have been:
– spayed or neutered
– vaccinated against rabies and distemper
– tested negative for FIV and FeLV
– examined by a vet
Adopters will receive their medical records.

Cats can live up to 20 years, so give careful thought to the changes that are likely to occur in your life during that time. If you can and will commit to providing a safe, loving home for life, then please submit a pre-adoption application.
