This is hard to write…
It is with a very heavy heart, I need to let you know that Shermie crossed rainbow bridge due to kidney failure. He was so well loved by his adoptive parents, Susanna and Tiffany, who took such excellent care of him and kept him comfortable and happy right until the end. He was a gentle, good-spirited soul even though he had endured some hard times in his life. He loved to snuggle and snack on treats, and was always happy to have his humans nearby. Shermy is also missed by his foster family, who loved him and had the pleasure of his company for two months while he waited for his forever home. We all love you so much, Shermy worm. We will remember you fondly.
He touched all of our hearts.

My name is Shermy and I am a five-year-old male. I was abandoned and found on a very hot day very dehydrated. I was in rough shape and with IV fluids and medication, I regained my strength and I’m ready for my forever home. I did test positive for FIV but have a long life ahead of me. I have no symptoms and a very good immune system to recover from my ordeal. I am a very friendly and affectionate guy. I love to play and can’t wait to have my forever home.
