Remy & Lexus

Our names are Remy (2 year old male gray tabby) and Lexus (13 week old brown tabby female).  We are best buds.  We are both very friendly and outgoing. We settle into our new environments very quickly.
I, Remy, am a real lovable guy who wants to be with you. I’m a great companion and I love sitting by my foster mom while she’s working, Doing laundry or anything that keeps me close to her.

Remy is on Prozac for his anxiety. We don’t know what exactly caused his triggers but if something scared him he would lose it.  He went to a foster home that worked with him while the wait time for the Prozac to work would pass.  In the meantime, he did great understanding his body language and not pushing him too soon just because he’s super friendly and lovable.  He liked all the young females who were outgoing and playful and stood up to him.  He’s a big ham and gives in to letting me be queen of the cat tree or share his food bowl even though I push him out of mine.  We are up for adoption together. I am his security blanket when he makes the next move to our forever home.  Remy needs an experience cat owner who understand animal body language.  It’s very obvious if Remy is feeling nervous or insecure.  He lets he’s foster mom pick him up.  He loves to be petted but mom doesn’t overdue it.  Our foster mom loves us and says Remy is like a dog.  When she comes to feed us, she calls to him with arms out and he runs to her.  Remy will continue his Prozac until his life is settled and stable.  Vets recommend a year and then start to ween.  He takes a pill every other day.  We will bring a lot of fun and love to your life.
Remy will do best in a house rather than an apartment and would prefer a home with no young children.
