Hi, I’m Poppy (original name, Popeye, but the vet discovered I was a girl, so my name was changed to Poppy) and am about a year old.. I need a special home. I’m VERY shy and get scared easily by sudden movements and noises. I spent the first two weeks in my foster home hiding behind the toilet in the bathroom. Now, I come out and enjoy having my head patted and love my scratching post. When I see my foster family, I am quite talkative and purr like crazy. I rub my head on everything. I would do well in a home with very patient family members who are not looking for a lap cat or cat who will sleep with them. I’m not that playful yet. I live with three cat savvy children, the youngest being 8, and I doesn’t mind them at all. I ignore the other resident cats. I’m not a fan of the dog. I explored other rooms of the house, but currently prefer the quietenss of the bathroom.
Unless otherwise noted in the above description, Kitty Connection cats have been:
