Good Girl is a pretty, 2 year old tabby girl who definitely lives up to her name.
She was rescued as a frightened, hungry stray and placed into a foster home. It didn’t take long for Good Girl’s sweet personality to emerge, nor for her foster mom to fall in love with her and decide to adopt her. Unfortunately, Good Girl has a sensitive digestive system– she needs a prescription gastrointestinal diet without which she experiences diarrhea– and kept getting into the food of the other cats and the dog in her new home despite her mom’s best efforts to keep her food separate, so her mom made the difficult decision to give her up for the sake of her own wellbeing. This makes it necessary for her to live in a home without dogs or other cats.
Good Girl is an affectionate little lady who responds to petting with a warm purr once her trust has been earned. As social as she is, she would do best in an interactive home with someone who will give her lots of attention and play time. We have not observed her with kids, but we think she would do well with mature children who know how to treat a cat respectfully. Good Girl’s loving nature makes her suitable for a first-time adopter.
She has:
– been spayed
– been given rabies and distemper vaccinations
– tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
– been treated for fleas and worms
Her adopter will receive their medical records. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee so we can continue to help cats in need. Her adoption fee has been reduced to help her get adopted quickly. The cost of her gastrointestinal food is comparable to that of high-end cat food found at pet-supply stores. She’s being fostered in Boston.
Cats can live up to 20 years, so give careful thought to the changes that are likely to occur in your life during that time. If you can and will commit to them and provide a safe, loving home for life, then respond to RoyCBarrows@gmail.com– this is the most direct way to proceed.
