Raspberry is a gorgeous, sleek black girl, about five years old. being who was rescued off the street as an abandoned stray. Her foster mom describes her as being about 90% sweetness and 10% sassiness. You know how some people assert that cats are independent creatures, when they’re really not? Well, Raspberry is one of those rare cats who actually is. She’s more of a lie-down-next-to-you than a lap cat, and she enjoys having her head and face being pet, but on her terms. She should be the only animal in her home and would not do well with kids.
She has been:
– spayed
– given rabies and distemper vaccinations
– tested negative for FIV and FeLV
– determined to be healthy by a vet
Her adopter will receive her medical records. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee so we can continue to help cats in need. Raspberry has been diagnosed with a food allergy that is well-regulated with an allergy medication. To help offset this, her adoption fee has been reduced to a mere $25– a bargain for a new best friend who will love you for the rest of her life. She is being fostered in Somerville.
Cats can live up to 20 years, so give careful thought to the changes that are likely to occur in your life during that time. If you can and will commit to her and provide a safe, loving home for life, then respond to RoyCBarrows@gmail.com. Please include your phone number for a faster response and say a little about yourself and the home you would provide as we try to match people with the right cats.
