Hi! My name is Mia and I’m a 4-year-old girl. Although I can be a bit slow to warm up, I have been a loving and social member of my family. That family expanded recently and now includes two young children. They are just being kids, but children are too much for me. My parents have done everything possible to help me cope. But I really just need a quiet home where I can spend time with my adult humans. You can win me over by talking softly to me and giving me treats–I’m not picky, even lettuce (yes, lettuce) will do! I also love to be brushed and watch birdies in the window. I will do best in a home without other pets and with humans who have experience with cats and are willing to be patient with me while I adjust and learn to trust them. I can’t wait to find my forever home!
