Leroy is a handsome tuxedo boy approximately 11 years old who is about to lose his home when the person he belongs to enters senior housing. As if this were not heartbreaking enough for him, he went through this once before about four years ago.
Leroy is an affectionate boy who will keep you company while you’re watching TV or on the computer. We have not observed him with kids, dogs, or other cats. We think he would do well with kids who know how to treat cats respectfully. He would do best in a home where he will not be left unaccompanied for long periods of time. He seems to be an easy cat who would be an excellent choice for a first-time adopter.
Leroy is as devoted a companion as anyone could ever want. It’s clear just looking at those eyes and that face that this boy is wired to love. He’s the kind of cat who will roll around on the floor at the sheer joy of being with someone he loves. Give him love, and he will return a thousand times more.
He has been neutered, given rabies and distemper vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, and treated for worms and fleas. His adopter will receive his medical records. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee so we can continue to help cats in need. We know that the world does not beat a path to 11-year-old cats, so his adoption fee has been reduced to only $45– still quite low for a fully vetted cat, and a bargain for a new best friend who will love you with all of his heart. He’s being fostered in Boston’s North End. Please inquire via email to RoyCBarrows@gmail.com and include your phone number for a faster response.
