Nelson and Benson

Our names are Nelson (orange) and Benson (brown tabby).  We are very handsome 4-year-old brothers. Sadly, our owners moved out and left us behind in the apartment. A nice lady took us and brought us The Kitty Connection to find our forever home.  We are very friendly boys who love being petted and having your love and attention. We’d make a great addition to any home. I hope Santa got our letter that a home is all we want for Christmas! We must be adopted together.

Nelson:

Hi, I’m Nelson! I’m a 4-year-old orange tabby Domestic Shorthair with a lot of love to give. I was rescued by Malden Animal Control after being abandoned in an apartment building, along with my best buddy, Benson.

At first, I was a little shy in my foster home, but once I realized I was safe, my lap-cat nature took over. I adore cuddling and will happily spend hours snuggled up with you—though on my own terms, of course. If you do something I don’t like, I’ll let you know with a grumble or a hiss. Don’t worry, though—I’m just expressing myself!

I’m quite the chatterbox, too. Whether I’m nervous or just have something to say, I’ll make sure you hear about it. I love exploring my surroundings, but at the end of the day, I’m really all about the cuddles.

Here’s what I’m looking for:

  • A home without young kids (they make me a little nervous).
  • Other pets are fine; I can get along with them.
  • Someone who’s ready for a curious, vocal companion who loves affection but appreciates personal boundaries.

Benson:

Hi, I’m Benson! I’m a 4-year-old male Domestic Shorthair tabby with a heart full of love to give—once I feel safe and secure. I was rescued by Malden Animal Control along with my buddy, Nelson, after being abandoned in an apartment building.

While Nelson is the bold and outgoing one of our duo, I’m a bit more reserved. It took me a few days to adjust in my foster home, but now that I’m settling in, my sweet and friendly nature is starting to shine through.

I’m not much of a lap cat (yet), but I’ll happily curl up beside you—especially if you hold still and let me come to you on my own time. As I grow more comfortable, I think I’ll become even more affectionate.

Here’s what I’m looking for:

  • A calm, patient home where I can take my time to adjust.
  • Someone who’s ready to help me build confidence and trust.
  • Lots of cozy spots to curl up in and plenty of quiet love.

If you’re the kind of person who loves earning a cat’s trust and watching their personality blossom, we might be the perfect companion for you. Can you help us find the comfort and cuddles we’ve been waiting for?

Unless otherwise noted in the above description, Kitty Connection cats have been:

– spayed or neutered
– vaccinated against rabies and distemper
– tested negative for FIV and FeLV
– examined by a vet

Adopters will receive their medical records.

Cats can live up to 20 years, so give careful thought to the changes that are likely to occur in your life during that time. If you can and will commit to providing a safe, loving home for life, then please submit a pre-adoption application.
