My name is Rusty! I am a 3 year old male cat. I am enjoying being a very big handsome indoor kitty now. I love getting pet and I plop over for you to give me good rubs. I purr very loudly to reward you!
It’s important to know that I’ve tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). What this means for me is this can affect my immune system and makes me more susceptible to getting sick. This doesn’t mean that I can’t have a beautiful happy life, but it can mean that my lifespan can be shorter than non FeLV cats. FeLV is contagious to other cats, so I am looking for a home with no other cats or other FeLV friends. It is not contagious to other animals or humans.
Sometimes I get overwhelmed with all the love from my foster family, so I’d do best in a house without little kids and with people who will respect my gentle communication. I am slowly exploring my new house and am very respectful of my foster family as they let me know the rules.
I can’t wait to find my forever home!
Unless otherwise noted in the above description, Kitty Connection cats have been:
– spayed or neutered
– vaccinated against rabies and distemper
– tested negative for FIV and FeLV
– examined by a vet
Adopters will receive their medical records.
