15-year-old Ninya is a striking exotic-shorthair mix Once upon a time, she lived with someone who meant the world to her and for whom she was a constant following-room-to-room companion. Unfortunately, that person didn’t feel the same way and showed it by moving and not bringing Ninya along, so Ninya’s life was turned upside-down.
Ninya is as sweet a cat as anyone is ever likely to find. She is a rub-against-your-leg, greet-you-when-you-come-home purring machine. She has a history of being OK with children, a dog, and a rabbit; we don’t know how she is with other cats. Like most cats, she would do best in a home in which she won’t be left unaccompanied for long. Ninya is an easy cat who will be a devoted companion for the rest of her life. She seems suitable for a first-time adopter.
She has been spayed, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, treated for worms and fleas, tested for internal parasites, and is current on vaccinations. Her adopter will receive her medical records, which reflect recent exams by two different vets giving her a clean bill of health.
There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee so we can continue to help cats in need. Ninya’s fee is a mere $25- a bargain for a new best friend who will love you for the rest of her life. She’s being fostered in Charlestown.
Cats can live up to 20 years, and don’t be surprised if Ninya lives that long, so give careful thought to the changes that are likely to occur in your life during that time.
