Omar is a friendly, playful, five-year-old boy who has “good boy” written all over him. He is a social boy who loves to interact with people, so he should be adopted into a home where he will get lots of play time and not be unaccompanied for long periods of time. He would prefer not to be around other cats, so he should be the sole king of his feline domain. We have not observed him with kids. We think he would do well with older kids who know how to treat cats respectively, but probably not with the bustle of young children. Omar is an interactive, affectionate boy who will keep you company while you’re watching TV or on the computer. Whoever adopts him will get a devoted companion for life.
Omar has been:
– neutered
– vaccinated against rabies and distemper
– tested negative for FeLV and FIV
– treated for worms and fleas
– examined and determined to be healthy by a vet
Omar has a sensitive digestive system, but he does very well on dry Blue Buffalo Novel Protein Diet. He has had recent dental work, so he’s all set in that area for the foreseeable future. His adopter will receive his medical records. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee so we can continue to help cats in need. He’s being fostered in Lynnfield.
Cats can live up to 20 years, so give careful thought to the changes that are likely to occur in your life during that time.
