One-year-old Kizmet was rescued from a would-be angora breeder who turned into a rather appalling hoarder. True to her ancestry, her fur is exceptionally soft. Her foster mom says Kizmet is a mellow, sometimes sassy kitty who can take a while to get out of her shell, but, once she does, she’ll strut around and own the place. She likes to play with shoelaces and is a big fan of birdwatching. She has a history of peacefully coexisting with other cats, but would be fine as the sole feline princess of her domain. She would probably do best in a quiet environment without the bustle of young children, and adopted by someone with enough patience to help her adjust to her new home.

She has been :
– spayed
– been vaccinated as age-appropriate
– tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
– been treated for fleas and worms
Their adopter will receive their medical records. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee so we can continue to help cats in need. She’s being fostered in the Northeastern University area.Cats can live up to 20 years, so give careful thought to the changes that are likely to occur in your life during that time. If you can and will commit to them and provide a safe, loving home for life, then respond to RoyCBarrows@gmail.com. Please include your phone number for a faster response and say a little about yourself and the home you would provide for them as we try to match people with the right cats.
